LONDON, KY (February 22, 2021) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Brent France along with Detective Taylor McDaniel arrested Jacobi Cavens age 30 of Hodgenville, KY on Sunday night February 21, 2021 at approximately 6:29 PM.

Hartman, Firearms Identification Unit, Fort Wayne Regional Laboratory (FWRL), has been promoted to Forensic Scientist EVII, to serve as the Fort Wayne Regional Laboratory Manager.

MANCHESTER, KY - Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on February 13, 2021 at approximately 10:30 PM Clay County Sheriff Deputy Kelly Johnson arrested Alex Howard, 18 of Sugar Creek Road.

FRANKFORT, KY - As you know by now, the first votes taken when we returned to Frankfort earlier this month were to override the vetoes of six bills passed during the January portion of the session. The bills vetoed include pro-life legislation, a measure that changes an archaic law that limits where Kentuckians can file suit against the state, and legislation that redefines the emergency powers of governors. Each of these vetoes passed with an overwhelming majority, and I know that my vote reflected the phone calls, messages, and conversations I have had with the people of this district over the past year.
