LONDON, KY (November 30, 2020) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that : On Wednesday, November 25, 2020 Laurel Sheriff's investigators arrested six individuals while conducting drug investigations and servicing arrest warrants for receiving stolen property regarding recent burglaries and thefts in the area.

Gary Mehler and Deputy Travis Napier and Deputy Brent France arrested Franklin J. Hammack age 45 of London on Friday night November 27, 2020 at approximately 9:13 PM.

CAMPBELLSBURG, KY (November 30, 2020) - On November 29, 2020 Post 5 Campbellsburg received a 911 call in reference to a shooting on Interstate 71 near the 38 mile marker. The caller reported that his passenger had been shot multiple times by a person in a separate vehicle.

FRANKFORT, KY – On Saturday November 28, 2020 Attorney General Daniel Cameron continued his fight to protect the religious liberties of Kentuckians by filing a brief before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit in response to Governor Beshear’s appeal in Danville Christian Academy v. Beshear.  On Wednesday evening, a Federal District Court Judge issued a statewide preliminary injunction stopping enforcement of Governor Beshear’s order banning in-person instruction at religious schools.
