Police asking the public's help in locating this suspect
Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Josh Scott is conducting an investigation into the burglary of Macs Filling Station located on US 25 approximately 8 miles south of London.
The business was broken into on May 31, 2015 at approximately 4:48 A.M.
Surveillance photos from the business indicated that a lone male suspect forced entry to the business at approx. 4:48 A.M. on May 31st and stayed in the building until 5:23 A.M.
The suspect stole numerous cartons of cigarettes, a roll of lottery tickets, tobacco, and other items, and caused significant damage to the building and a walk in cooler.
Anyone with any information regarding this store's burglary is asked to contact the Laurel County Sheriff's office – information will be strictly confidential.
Investigation is continuing.
