Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes, Kentucky's chief business officer, is encouraging entrepreneurs and persons interested in starting a business in Kentucky to participate in National Write a Business Plan Month this December.

Attorney General Jack Conway has announced that he and 28 state attorneys general from across the country, in a bipartisan effort, have asked the commissioner of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to reconsider its recent decision to approve the high-dose narcotic painkiller Zohydro ER.

Kentucky State Police Promotes 48 Officers

(FRANKFORT, KY.)--- The Kentucky State Police recognized the promotion of 48 officers throughout the state at a ceremony held at the Thomas D. Clark Center for Kentucky History in Frankfort. One lieutenant colonel, two  majors, nine captains, 12 lieutenants and 24 sergeants were commissioned.
