The Administrative Office of the Courts introduced eFiling to Kentucky state courts this week by accepting the first electronic case filings at its test site in the office of Franklin County Circuit Court Clerk Sally Jump in Frankfort. The first case was filed Monday, Dec. 16, with a total of six cases filed as of Wednesday, December 18, 2013.

Kentucky one of six winners nationally for latest federal education grants
FRANKFORT Ky.– Kentucky’s new $44.3 million Race to the Top grant will jump-start learning, support parents and improve early learning programs for thousands of Kentucky preschoolers, Gov. Steve Beshear said yesterday.
Eddie Price, the Hancock County Kentucky author of "Widder's Landing," recently won the Gold Medal for "Best Historical Fiction" in the 2013 Readers Favorite Awards in Miami, Florida.
The awards were held in conjunction with the International Book Fair held in downtown Miami and which featured authors from all over the world.
