Mexican National Sentenced for Production of False Identity Documents and Aggravated Identity Theft

LEXINGTON, KY (Friday, April 25, 2025) – A Mexican national residing in Kentucky, Miguel Angel Paez-Aguinaga, 53, was sentenced on Friday to 54 months in prison by U.S. District Judge Karen Caldwell, for one count of conspiracy to produce fraudulent identification documents and two counts of aggravated identity theft.

HAZARD, KY – Two Perry County people are now in custody following a several month long investigation. In early January, Kentucky State Police, Post 13, Hazard, was contacted by the Kentucky Fire Commission in reference to complaints of misconduct.

Lee County Man Indicted and Detained for Armed Drug Trafficking

LEXINGTON, KY- A Rogers, Ky., man, Robert Lutes, 50, was indicted on April 17 by a grand jury sitting in Lexington for four counts of distributing fentanyl, two counts of distributing 50 grams or more of methamphetamine, one count of possessing with the intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine, one count of possessing with the intent to distribute 40 grams or more of fentanyl, and one count of possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking.
