Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Sgt. Robbie Grimes arrested two individuals at Walmart near Corbin in southern Laurel County on Wednesday afternoon June 10, 2015 at approximately 4:30 P.M.
ONEIDA, Ky. - Grace Sink, a rising sophomore at Oneida Baptist Institute, placed first at the state FFA Creed Contest on June 10, 2015. The contest was held in Lexington, Kentucky as part of the State FFA Convention.
Synopsis - On September 27, 2014, Shad Gerken, 35, of Woodville, was shot and killed by three State Police troopers after a standoff of several hours in a wooded area off the Woodville Road in Chester, Maine. The troopers, all members of the State Police Tactical Team, were Sgt. Nicholas Grass, Sgt. Donald Shead, and Det. Greg Mitchell.
