Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Laurel Sheriff’s Deputy Andrew Lawson along with Deputy Tyler Morris, and Sgt. Brett Reeves arrested a London man early Tuesday morning February 17th 2015 at approximately 6:17 A.M.
LEXINGTON, Ky. - The Kentucky Agricultural Development Board, chaired by Gov. Steve Beshear, approved $708,855 for nine agricultural diversification and rural development programs across the Commonwealth during its January board meeting.
FRANKFORT, Ky. (Feb 17, 2015) - The State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) remains activated as another winter weather system is expected to bring additional snow to the Commonwealth.
Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that all Laurel County Roads including I-75, U.S. 25, Ky 80, & Ky 30 continue to be slick and hazardous. All secondary roads are still extremely slick and hazardous. As much as 11 inches of snow fell, and many secondary roads are impassable. Salt trucks and snow plows are out and have plowed major roads, and many county roads, however, most roads are still snow covered.
