Financial Aid Tip of the Month, April 2015

By now, most high school seniors should have completed the college application process and will begin receiving financial aid award letters. Seniors and their parents should compare those letters to find the one that offers the best financial aid package, the Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority (KHEAA) advises.

(Harlan, Ky.) On March 31, 2015 at 5:49 p.m. Kentucky State Police, Post 10 Harlan received a call of an injury collision on Ky 38 in the Shields community of Harlan County. Troopers from post 10 responded to the scene.

Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Shawn Jackson along with Deputy Brandon Broughton, and Sgt Brett Reeves arrested Kimberly Hubbard age 28 of Village Drive, Lexington on Sunday night March 29, 2015 at approximately 11:07 P.M.

(Henderson, Ky.) - On March 30, 2015, at approximately 4:30 p.m., the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch, assisted by KSP Post 16-Henderson, arrested Leonard A. Gehret, 62, for charges related to possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor.
